Spring Has Sprung

After a winter that seemed like it would never end, there’s nothing quite like a closet refresh. This spring, I’m looking forward to polished looks with a cozy factor and a new, optimistic pop of color. For tips on nailing that springtime feeling, I will share my cardinal rules for springtime style.

Always bring a sweater

Spring isn’t always sunny, so you’ll need to prepare for the occasional inclement weather. Simple to wear and easy to keep on hand or tie around waist. Cashmere and cotton sweaters are a smart investment for their light feel and breathable natural knit. I recommend always keeping a sweater on hand, waist or shoulders.

Stick to something timeless

A pair of vintage LEVIS. They go perfectly with a classic/timeless wardrobe. The vintage 501 will do the trick. (I would stay within the solid’s range: White, Grey, Denim and Black).

Stripes are always a good look and perfect for transitional weather. I would recommend a good ol’ striped tee, it pretty much goes with everything at any given moment. It season-less. The nautical vibe is reminiscent of a sunny day, and a subtle pattern goes a long way when it comes to grounding an outfit together.

Embrace Change

Loafers is getting whimsical, in loafers can be playful, upbeat and optimistic. I choose more of a practical loafer to tie in this look. But, I would recommend purchasing fun loafers to tie in your look to embrace change. Consider leopard, snake skin or a pop of color to tie in your look if your feeling bold.
